Tourist Boom in Southern Bosnia and Herzegovina: Neum and Mostar Open Summer Season with High Temperatures and Full Capacity

(Patria) - The summer tourist season in Bosnia and Herzegovina has officially opened, and the coast of Neum and the city of Mostar are already packed with tourists from around the world. Thus, today, on the second day of the holiday, Neum is full of visitors, including those who have also opened the swimming season.

All parking lots are occupied, while hotels are almost completely full.

The pre-season has already exceeded expectations.

Another city in the south, Mostar, is also in full tourist swing. With temperatures reaching 30 degrees on the thermometer, the city beneath the Old Bridge attracts visitors from all corners of the world – from China and Turkey to England and Italy.

In the old city core of Mostar, a bustling atmosphere is evident. Restaurants are full, and prices, as last year, are noticeably higher, with a half-liter bottle of water and a scoop of ice cream costing 3 KM. Souvenirs, especially magnets, in the very center of the city reach higher prices, which does not diminish the interest of tourists who want to take a piece of Mostar home.

This double tourist boom in the south of the country, from Neum to Mostar, heralds a successful summer season, and experts and local hoteliers expect the number of visitors to grow year after year, while prices remain on the rise.
