SARAJEVO, (Patria) - A tourist from Makarska died, most likely from a heart attack, while skiing at the ski resort near Kupres in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the police confirmed to Hina.
"A man with initials D.R., born in 1962, died while skiing. Doctors confirmed death after he was brought in front of the Hotel Adria ski", said the Operational Duty Office of the Ministry of Interior of Canton 10, reports Index.hr.
Media reports that the man most likely died from a heart attack.
A police patrol and an ambulance quickly arrived at the scene, but the man could not be saved.
The ski resort at Kupres is a favorite destination for tourists from Dalmatia.
