Tuka, Džumhur and Teletović support the holding of the 'Konjic Ten'

(Patria) - Amel Tuka, Damir Džumhur and Mirza Teletović, each for their personal reasons, decided to support the efforts of Mahir Mujić to organize a 10-kilometer race through the streets of Konjic.
Let us remind you, a few days ago Mujić, who otherwise participates in a large number of humanitarian races, selling kilometers to help the sick, received a refusal from the Municipality of Konjic for financial assistance for the "Konjic Night Ten".

However, this did not discourage Mujić, who decided to organize this race himself, which is expected to attract more than 500 competitors from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as from the region. Mirza Teletović, a former NBA basketball player and current president of the BiH Basketball Federation, who is sentimentally attached to this city and supports every initiative that involves sports and recreation from the start, also joined his efforts to give Konjic a night race and thus further promote the city.

"Konjic deserves to be recognized as a city that loves sports, and this race is an ideal opportunity to further revitalize the city," said Teletović, who, if he is in BiH on July 6, when the race is planned, will come to the opening of the "Konjic Ten".

Our best tennis player, Damir Džumhur, just like Teletović, has special feelings for Konjic, considering that his father Nerfid was also born in this city.

"Every young person who tries to do something related to sports in their city has my support. And if it's in Konjic, which I love very much and always visit with joy, then it's clear that I will support the holding of this event," said Džumhur.

Amel Tuka, our best athlete, will probably not be in BiH in July, but he will support Mahir Mujić and his efforts to organize this humanitarian race through social networks.

"I believe that the race in Konjic will be held, despite the problems the organizer is facing. Mahir Mujić is a guy who helps everyone without question, and the least we others can do is help him organize the 'First Konjic Night Race'," said Tuka.

Mahir Mujić, for those who don't know, and there are few such people in our country, is involved in athletics out of love. He also runs to bring a smile back to the faces of the youngest Bosnians and Herzegovinians who are fighting the hardest battles – those for life. Mahir is a marathon runner and a humanist with a big heart, a man who sells kilometers and then helps sick children with the collected money.

Mujić received full support for this event from the most active NGO "Volunteers and Friends of the Konjic Region", whose president Adis Muhibić, announces the participation of over 100 volunteers from Konjic.
