Tuka receives state sports award in the amount of 15,000 KM

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, adopted a Decision on awarding the state sports award for 2015 to the national record holder in the 800 meters, Amel Tuka, reports the BH news agency Patria.

The state sports award in the amount of 15,000.00 KM was awarded to athlete Tuka for winning the bronze medal at the World Championships in Beijing in the 800-meter race and the gold medal at the Balkan Indoor Championships in Istanbul in 2015, as well as for placing 3rd at the final meeting of the IAAF Diamond League in Brussels. At the EA classic meeting in Velenje, Tuka last year fulfilled the standards for the World Championships in Beijing 2015 and the Olympic Games in Rio 2016.
