Pregnant women from the 38th week of pregnancy will need only one referral for check-ups and childbirth

(Patria) - The Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton is pleased to inform all pregnant women in Sarajevo Canton that as of today, March 28, 2024, at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo and the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš", pregnant women who have completed 38 weeks of pregnancy can, with a single, so-called large referral, undergo all necessary check-ups - ultrasound, CTG, etc., as assessed by the department doctor, without the need for multiple referrals for each individual examination.

As they state, this referral also applies to check-ups and childbirth, which will make it easier for expectant mothers to access healthcare services in the final stage of their pregnancy.
