Trolleybus to run to Trg Austrije from tomorrow

(Patria) - During the reconstruction of the road in Hamdije Kreševićakovića street, one of the busiest roads in the city, unforeseen situations occurred due to damage to the ceiling slab on the covered section of the Bistrički stream. This damage was the reason for the inability of the trolleybus to operate.

Given that the renovation of this road also required unplanned repair of the damaged ceiling slab, the deadline for the works has been extended.

The Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton, after the repair of the damage was completed, decided to lay the first layer of asphalt on this section, in order to restore trolleybus traffic to Trg Austrije, and to lay the second layer of asphalt when the weather conditions are more favorable. From tomorrow, the trolleybus will run to the mentioned square again.

The Ministry allocated 537,000 KM for this project, and the reconstruction involved a complete replacement of the upper and lower parts of the road, replacement of sidewalks, and works on surface drainage.
