(Patria) - Leaders of the Trojka parties Nermin Nikšić (SDP BiH), Edin Forto (Our Party), and Elmedin Konaković (NiP) visited Banja Luka today on the occasion of November 25th, Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Trojka leaders met at the SDP premises, under the windows of which former VRS soldiers organized protests. Forto referred to the gathered group as a "group of activists" on his Facebook.
"Having coffee in Banja Luka, under the window a group of activists is singing songs dedicated to Serbia," Forto wrote.
We remind you that the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs banned the gathering in Banja Luka on the occasion of BiH Statehood Day, and they did the same in Mrkonjić Grad, the location of the first session of ZAVNOBiH.
The Veterans Organization of the City of Banja Luka organized today's gathering "to express their opposition to the arrival of SDP and Trojka members in Banja Luka on the occasion of BiH Statehood Day, despite the bans on celebrating BiH Statehood Day."
Former VRS soldiers initially gathered in front of the m:tel building in Banja Luka, after which they walked to the "Marriott" hotel. They stayed there briefly and then headed towards the Borik settlement where the SDP headquarters in Banja Luka is located.
They carried RS flags, and as they walked through the city, songs like "Marš na Drinu", "Veseli se sprski rode" could be heard, along with shouts of "This is Serbia".
After the walk through Banja Luka, they arrived in front of the SDP building, where Vojin Mijatović, the Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship, and Crafts, welcomed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Elmedin Konaković, and the Prime Minister of FBiH, Nermin Nikšić.
An academy on the occasion of BiH Statehood Day was supposed to be held in this building, after the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs banned its holding at the "Marriott" hotel, writes N1.
