(Patria) - Advisor to the Speaker Željko Komšić and candidate for the BiH Presidency member Slaven Kovačević sharply criticized the ruling Three's decision not to support the "Declaration on the condemnation of the ban on journalist Avdo Avdić entering the Republic of Croatia".

In a post on his Facebook profile, Kovačević stated that such a move represents a serious blow to the fundamental freedoms of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as to the European values and standards that the country, at least declaratively, strives for.

"I consider the decision and stance of the ruling Three to refuse to support the 'Declaration on the condemnation of the ban on journalist Avdo Avdić entering the Republic of Croatia', proposed by the DF Club in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH, a blow to the fundamental freedoms of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a blow to European values and standards.

With this, the Three have once again joined the destructive policy of HDZ, and once again subordinated the interests of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the particular interest of a neighboring country.

There is no argument that can justify such a political move," Kovačević wrote in the post.
