The "Trojka" visits Dodik: State coalition meeting begins in East Sarajevo

(Patria) - A meeting of political partners forming the government at the state level of Bosnia and Herzegovina has begun in East Sarajevo.

The host of the talks is SNSD and RS leader Milorad Dodik, although this time it was supposed to be the "Trojka". However, it is evident that the "Trojka" members have once again yielded to Dodik's wishes.

Patria's photojournalist captured the arrival of the leader of SDP BiH Nermin Nikšić, then of People and Justice (NIP) Elmedin Konaković, while the representative in the BiH Parliament Predrag Kojović appeared on behalf of Our Party. And here is the indispensable, long-time Dodik partner Dragan Čović, leader of HDZ BiH.

Incidentally, the meeting was held after the hearing of Milorad Dodik and Miloš Lukić at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Today, in another attempt to give a chance to the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we will organize a meeting of partners in the government at the joint level, Mr. Čović, the Serb side, and the Bosniak side, at the Administrative Center of the RS Government in East Sarajevo.

I think this is the last attempt at stabilization before that partnership could fall apart. Therefore, we expect to resolve the issues of the blockage in the work of the House of Peoples, which is blocked by Bosniaks who have left and thus blocked the work of the House of Peoples.

To resolve the issue of the illegal High Representative and his decisions, to suspend them, and to agree to adopt the Election Law as soon as possible, which is already possible tomorrow, in the House of Representatives, which would establish everything that is normal for a country, and that is the technical level.

The Central Election Commission, which has been given too much significance by the decisions of the illegal Schmidt, must be de-powered. Costs related to elections must be rationalized, and it must be ensured that the representation of peoples, constituent peoples, is visible in the election commissions, as foreseen by the Constitution and the law.

I expect that we will consider all of this today at the meeting. If there is no agreement, I am no longer sure how much sense that partnership makes. After several agreements and what the foreigners, primarily the American ambassador Murphy, have destroyed, the entire European path has been blocked.

The optimism we had has receded, and we cannot move forward until we resolve the causes of this stagnation. And that is, above all, the illegal Schmidt, who continues to undermine BiH's European perspective," Dodik announced on social media.
