Trojka on its partner: Dodik's policy directly threatens peace, time for reaction from judiciary and OHR

(Patria) - After the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik signed a decree on the promulgation of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Publication of Laws and Other Regulations of Republika Srpska, in a joint statement by the SDP BiH, People and Justice, and Our Party, a reaction from the judiciary is demanded.

“The new moves by Milorad Dodik represent a violation of the Dayton Agreement, which directly threatens peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region. Unfortunately, we are witnessing that Dodik has refused and continues to refuse constructive work in the interest of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity of Republika Srpska itself. It is now clear that no warnings will stop the destroyers of the constitutional order, therefore it is necessary to respond decisively and concretely to such attacks on the state, state institutions, and overall peace.”

The Trojka demands a reaction from judicial institutions so that all those responsible, led by Milorad Dodik, bear criminal responsibility for their actions.

The Trojka reminds the international community that the Bonn powers of the High Representative are a systemic measure precisely for such situations, as well as the remaining possibility for NATO to deploy its troops, especially in the area of the Brčko District of BiH.

It is time, they say, for the international community to decide whether the SNSD and its satellite followers in the destruction of the state can be viewed as partners for building peace or as Russian partners for its destruction.
