(Patria) - The Trojka parties (SDP, NS, NIP) issued a press release today regarding the failed SIPA operation to arrest Milorad Dodik, president of the RS, at the Administrative Center of the RS Government in Istočno Sarajevo.
"Given the fact that the implementation of court decisions is the foundation of the rule of law in every democratic country, the Trojka parties give full support to SIPA and other competent intelligence-police agencies in carrying out activities aimed at executing the decision of the Court of BiH on the apprehension of fugitives from the law, and at the same time encourage them to persistently, expertly and professionally continue their work until the decisions and orders of the judicial bodies of BiH are realized, because no one is and must not be above the law.
We call on the Prosecutor's Office of BiH to, in accordance with its jurisdiction and in accordance with Articles of the Criminal Code of BiH: 241a (preventing a public official from performing an official act), Article 156. (attack on the constitutional order) and Article 157. (endangering a territorial unit), initiate criminal proceedings against the responsible persons in the RS MoI.
Fugitives should not cowardly hide behind police officers, thereby endangering their future and the future of their families, in order to protect their property and personal interests.
Fugitives from the law will ultimately be brought to justice, and all those who knowingly or unknowingly become their accomplices in committing serious criminal offenses punishable under the Criminal Code of BiH should know this," the statement said.
