Trojka and the 'Marjanović, Lemezan, Hodžić' Club Negotiate Reconstruction of Sarajevo Canton Government

(Patria) - At the invitation of the Trojka parties (NIP, SDP, NS), a meeting will be held today regarding the reconstruction of the Sarajevo Canton Government, specifically the exclusion of the Party for BiH and the inclusion of the For New Generations movement. The movement confirmed on Friday that the meeting was initiated by Trojka and that they will attend.

We remind you that ZNG has one vote in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, that of Damir Marjanović, and the same club includes Redžo Lemezan, who left the Our Party, and Admela Hodžić, who left the Party for BiH. Regardless of the fact that Trojka and the Party for BiH still have the required assembly majority of 21 votes, Trojka wants a different partner. The Party for BiH has proven to be an unpredictable partner so far, and its assembly members in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly very often vote according to their conscience, following the party's program. Trojka clearly wants an obedient partner, and the Party for BiH no longer fits that role.

ZNG stated that they will present clear guidelines and basic assumptions for potential future joint action in the executive branch at the meeting.

"We expect the initiated process to be short and efficient and to result, as stated in the invitation, in the earliest possible stabilization of political conditions in the Sarajevo Canton," they stated.

More information will be known after the talks are concluded.

Should this club in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly decide to support the reconstruction of the Sarajevo Canton Government, it would mean that Trojka and the new club would have 20 votes, which is also a narrow majority.

Otherwise, due to the break in the session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, even if an agreement on changing one partner is reached, the reconstruction will not happen before the end of August.
