SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Three Bosnian citizens who were extradited to BiH from Germany on April 11 due to links to terrorist activities have been released after being questioned by members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), confirmed SIPA spokesperson Luka Miladinović, reports Birn, as carried by Patria.
“SIPA police officers, through inter-agency data exchange, received information from the German Embassy in Zagreb that on April 11, 2019, at 1:00 PM, three Bosnian citizens would be extradited to Sarajevo on a flight from Düsseldorf due to links to alleged terrorist activities,” said Miladinović.
He added that they were handed over to Border Police officers at the International Airport.
“After that, in the official premises of the BiH Border Police, SIPA officers conducted an interview with the mentioned individuals regarding the circumstances of the extradition. SIPA continues to undertake measures and actions within its jurisdiction,” said Miladinović, adding that he cannot comment on those activities.
