Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Erdal Trhulj participated in the 6th Atlantic Council Summit, dedicated to energy and economy, held from November 20 to 22 in Istanbul, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
Trhulj participated in an expanded ministerial meeting where the financing of critical investments in energy infrastructure was discussed. The meeting, attended by 15 ministers, was chaired by U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz and the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey Taner Yildiz.
On the last day of the summit, Minister Trhulj participated in a private closed session attended by U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden, Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu, members of the Atlantic Council Board of Directors, the International Advisory Board, and top government officials.
During a break in the summit, Minister Trhulj and the Ambassador of BiH to the Republic of Turkey Damir Džanko held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey Taner Yildiz, it was announced from the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry.
