Traders from the Zenica market briefly blocked access to the ZDK Government building, after authorities announced the closure of their stalls by the end of January, reports the news agency Patria.
The cantonal inspection fined some of the traders last year, who work at the Zenica market and lack the necessary work permits. This angered the workers, who subsequently took to the streets.
ZDK Premier Miralem Galijašević then said he would try to find a legal solution for the inspection to cancel the fines for the traders. He also said that illegal traders could obtain registrations for their sales booths after the New Year. However, this did not happen.
Authorities announced the closure of the booths at the Zenica market by the end of the month, which again caused disappointment among traders. They announce protests until an agreement is reached with the authorities in Zenica, writes NAP.
