THIRD DAY Negotiations continue in Neum

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Negotiations on the BiH election legislation, which are being held in Neum under the mediation of the US and EU, have entered their third and final day.

Mediators in the talks, US envoy for this reform Matthew Palmer and European representative Angelina Eichhorst, expressed optimism yesterday that a final agreement could be reached, but at the same time emphasized that the leaders of BiH parties participating in the negotiations face extremely difficult issues.

The meeting is attended by the presidents of SDA, SBB, NIP, HDZ BiH, HDZ 1990, while representatives of the Democratic Front, Our Party, and the Social Democratic Party refused to send their delegations in such political circumstances, due to the blockade of state institutions.

We remind you that the hotel in Neum where the leaders are staying is isolated from public view, BiH leaders have been banned from making public statements, and yesterday information emerged that their phones were being confiscated upon entering meetings.
