Third time lucky: Will Perica Stanić finally be appointed as SIPA Director

At the session of the Council of Ministers of BiH to be held on Thursday, November 5, the Proposal for a Decision on the Appointment of the Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency will also be on the agenda, which will be the third time this item is on the agenda, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

The first two times, the Minister of Security, Dragan Mektić, who also chose the name Perica Stanić from the list of five names forwarded to him by the BiH Parliamentary Assembly's House of Representatives, did not attend the sessions because he was on an official trip to the USA. The Council of Ministers wanted to hear the reasons why Mektić chose the third-ranked candidate from the list. It is known that Mektić and Stanić are from Prnjavor, know each other for a long time, and are also linked by godparent ties.

Also, one of the items will be the Appointment in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the jurisdiction of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to the expiration of mandates.
