Kenan Trebinčević, author of the book “The Bosnian List” which has been a hit in the United States for several months, and was included in the list of most read books selected by Oprah Winfrey, watched our Dragons play against Argentina last night at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro. Our team lost the match 2:1, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
Born in Brčko, he is a passionate supporter of the Dragons and arrived in Brazil with his brother to support our players in the match against Argentina. His book is a true depiction of events and war crimes in Brčko, and has received very good reviews from the American public and readers.
- It was fantastic! You have to experience when 500 Bosnian fans walk through the streets of Rio towards the stadium, cheering, and Brazilians come out of their windows and greet them. At the stadium, 2,000 of us cheer for 90 minutes against 60,000 Argentinians who cheer intermittently. But you have to experience when 13,000 Brazilians jump to their feet and spontaneously create a song about us – says Trebinčević.
