Trebević under snow turns into one of the most beautiful natural oases near Sarajevo, although this small mountain is a fairy-tale-like place even during the summer months.
The cult picnic spot for Sarajevans has also been officially declared a protected area since 2014.
Restaurants, as well as the cable car, were destroyed during the Serbian siege of Sarajevo, which lasted from 1992 to 1995, and only a small part of that infrastructure has been restored to date, but the natural beauty of this place has remained untouched.
