Tragic incident in Sarajevo: Worker dies after falling from a roof

(Patria) - Around 2:35 PM, the Novo Sarajevo Police Department was informed that in Humska Street, during roof work on a house, a worker fell from a height and was severely injured.

An emergency medical team was immediately dispatched to the scene, which transported the injured person to the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS). Despite the efforts of doctors, the worker's death was confirmed at 3:50 PM.

An investigation at the scene will be conducted under the supervision of the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, and will be carried out by members of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS.

An investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
