One-month detention proposed for Sergej and Blaško Furtula, over attempted murder in Vraca

(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton has proposed to the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo the imposition of a one-month detention for the suspect Sergej Furtula on charges of attempted murder and causing general danger.

Detention was proposed due to the risk of influencing witnesses, concealing evidence, obstructing the investigation, repeating the criminal offense, and the danger that the suspect's release could cause public disturbance.

At the same time, the prosecutor proposed to the same court the imposition of a one-month detention and the issuance of a warrant for the suspect Blaško Furtula on charges of attempted murder as a co-perpetrator and causing general danger. Detention was also proposed for him due to the risk of flight.

They are suspected of participating in a shooting in Vraca and firing multiple shots from a firearm at Amel Bogućanin, who is also a suspect in another case of the Prosecutor's Office of the Sarajevo Canton.
