OAZA celebrates World Water Day with traditional water distribution

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - OAZA is celebrating World Water Day again this year with traditional water distribution. Thousands of bottles of one of the most awarded Bosnian-Herzegovinian water brands will be given away today in cities across BiH.

"There is no life without water. There is no health without clean and healthy water. We are fortunate that as a country, we are the richest in water in the region. We have the privilege of being seventh in Europe in terms of drinking water sources, and among the leading countries in the world in terms of water quantity and purity. Therefore, let's protect our springs, rivers, and lakes. Also, let's support quality domestic brands, as this strengthens our economy and fills state coffers. As a domestic producer, we want to make our own contribution in terms of social responsibility and promotion of domestic brands," stated the Oaza company.

According to World Bank data, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with 9,461 cubic meters of drinking water per capita, is first in the region and seventh in Europe. In terms of these parameters, BiH is richer in water resources than many countries in the world, including China, France, Germany, Japan, and the United States.

The Oaza water source is located in a place isolated from modern pollution. Geological research shows an exceptional impermeable soil structure, protecting groundwater from surface pollution. Oaza is a high-quality drinking water with excellent organoleptic, physical-chemical, and biological characteristics. Oaza water has an ideally balanced ratio of minerals, especially calcium and magnesium, which are very important for the human body.

OAZA has so far been awarded at the world water competition in Berkeley Springs, USA (International Water Tasting Awards), first with a gold medal in 1998, then a silver medal in 2000, then a bronze medal in 2001, and again a gold medal in 2002, and a silver medal in 2015. OAZA was also once on the official menu of the "White House".
