Traditional Eid Greeting

After the conclusion of the central Eid ceremony at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque in Sarajevo and a visit to the martyrs' cemetery at Kovači, where the Grand Mufti Husein ef. Kavazović and high officials of the Islamic Community in BiH recited the Fatiha at the grave of President Alija Izetbegović, the traditional Eid greeting was held in the Salon of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Greetings were extended to the Grand Mufti Husein ef. Kavazović, Deputy Grand Mufti Husein ef. Smajić, and the Mufti of Sarajevo Enes ef. Ljevaković by state officials, representatives of political parties, cultural and other institutions, the diplomatic corps, employees of institutions and establishments of the Islamic Community, and numerous other personalities and citizens.

This evening at the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Sarajevo at 7:00 PM, a traditional Eid reception for guests will be held.
