SARAJevo, (Patria) - Toronto today paid great honor to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and by decision of the Mayor of Toronto John Tory, the flag of our country was raised in front of the city parliament in honor of the 30th anniversary of Bosnia and Herzegovina's independence.
The largest city in Canada and one of the most important global political, economic, and academic centers thus pays tribute to Bosnia and Herzegovina, giving the best answer to the deniers of Independence Day and the deniers of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian state, announced the Institute for Research of Genocide Canada.
The Mayor of Toronto also published a congratulatory message on Independence Day yesterday.
The flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina was also raised today in front of the Hamilton City Hall by decision of Mayor Fred Eisenberger.
A large number of prominent Canadian political, academic, and cultural entities congratulated Bosnia and Herzegovina's Independence Day.
