District heating plants to receive fuel oil, Sarajevo residents will not be left without heating

The company Toplane Sarajevo announced that the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be left without heating, nor will any reductions be introduced. As stated by the Minister of Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection Zlatko Petrović, the district heating plants will receive supplies of fuel oil for the next ten days this evening, reports the Patria news agency.

As he emphasized, none of the responsible parties know how the situation will develop and what solution will be found so that citizens and regular payers do not suffer due to the negligence of the Government of the Sarajevo Canton, which has not paid a single mark to this company in the past two years.

The relevant ministry constantly faces problems with the ongoing payment of invoices, especially during the heating season when there is enormous gas consumption. The debt of Toplane to Sarajevogas amounts to approximately 51 million KM, while citizens' debt to Toplane amounts to about 80,000,000 KM.
