KJKP „Toplane - Sarajevo“ d.o.o. signed a contract at the beginning of June 2015 with the company „Compact invest“ d.o.o. for the construction of a rooftop gas boiler room with an installed capacity of approximately 750 kW, through which the residential-commercial buildings „Sarajevo Waves 1 and 2“ in the Otes settlement area, Ilidža Municipality, will be heated, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
On Tuesday, January 5, 2016, a functional operational test of the aforementioned district heating system was carried out, thereby successfully completing all necessary activities for the construction of the rooftop gas boiler room for the residential-commercial buildings „Sarajevo Waves 1 and 2“, as part of projects to expand the district heating system and connect new users to the central heating system.
By constructing new boiler plants and introducing new users into the central heating system, the Company is working extensively on increasing energy efficiency, protecting the environment, contributing to reducing the level of pollution in the capital of BiH in general, and contributing to the development of a safe, environmentally acceptable and economical method of heating - it was announced from Toplane.
