During the weekend: Prepare for freezing rain, sleet, and snow

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, a sudden cooling is expected over the weekend with sleet and snow, which will first fall in the mountains, and from Monday, November 23, also in lower areas, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Meteorologists say that Saturday, November 21, will be mostly cloudy and rainy, with the arrival of significantly colder air. Towards the end of the day, it will suddenly get colder, first in the west, where temperatures in the mountains will drop below zero, and the rain will turn into snow during the night.

On Sunday, November 22, a snow cover will form, higher in the mountains. In lower areas, there will be more snow transitioning into Monday. In the south, heavy rain is expected during the night and in the morning. The highest daily temperature will range from one to six degrees Celsius.

According to forecasts, during the night into Monday, November 23, there will still be snow. During the day, precipitation is expected to stop, but it will remain cold. Temperatures in the mountains will be below zero, and in other areas from one to five degrees Celsius.
On the transition to Tuesday, November 24, cloudiness from the west will again bring rain and snow in higher areas, as well as on Wednesday and Thursday, during the holidays of November 25 and 26.
In higher areas, there will be snow, and in lower areas, sleet, and even freezing rain. Night temperatures in the mountains will be below zero, in lower areas around zero, and daily temperatures will range from one to five degrees.
