250,000 copies of the Quran in four languages to be distributed during the World Cup

An organization from Kuwait will distribute 250,000 free copies of the Quran, the holy book of Muslims, in various translations during the World Cup in Brazil, reports Patria. As the Kuwaiti daily Al-Qabas writes, the distribution of the Quran is planned in hotels, stadiums, and various other public places, and it will be printed in Spanish, Portuguese, English, and French.

Namely, out of 32 international selections, five are Islamic countries: Algeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Iran. The newspaper also mentioned Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose national team composition is nationally mixed, with Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats playing.

As Patria previously reported, "Salaam Brazil" visitor guides will also be distributed to visitors from Islamic countries to familiarize them with halal restaurants and religious sites, as the holy Muslim month of Ramadan will begin during the World Cup, reports Patria.
