During the last 24 hours in BiH, 1972 people infected with corona, 79 died

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the last 24 hours, 1972 people were infected with the coronavirus, and 79 died from the consequences of the virus.

FBiH Entity

In the last 24 hours, the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH reported 4,114 samples, of which 1,286 are positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons/zupanjas in the Federation of BiH.

A total of 543,007 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 111,402 people. 

As of today, 88,896 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH.

Currently, there are 18,797 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

In the last 24 hours, the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH reported 47 new deaths.

As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 3,709.

RS Entity 

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in the entity of Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 1,379 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health, the University Clinical Center, the University Hospital in Foča, and the "Sveti Vračevi" hospital in Bijeljina and "Sveti apostol Luka" in Doboj, and the coronavirus was confirmed in 601 people.

These are 292 males and 309 females, of whom 60 are younger, 370 middle-aged, and 171 elderly.

According to place of residence, 155 people are from Banja Luka, 58 from Gradiška, 57 from Bijeljina, 32 from Laktaši, 22 from Gacko, 20 from Prijedor, 19 from Doboj, 18 from Modriča, 17 each from Sokolac and Foča, 16 from Prnjavor, 14 from Derventa, 12 from Teslić, 11 from Pale, 10 each from Kneževo, Kozarska Dubica and Šipovo, nine each from Zvornik and Milići, eight each from Nevesinje, Ugljevik and Šamac, seven from Mrkonjić Grad, six from Višegrad, five each from Kotor Varoš, Han Pijesak, Čelinac and Šekovići, four each from Bratunac and Novi Grad, three each from Vlasenica, Novo Goražde, Ribnik and Srbac, two from Istočno Novo Sarajevo, and one each from Brod, Istočna Ilidža, Kostajnica, Lopare, Srebrenica and Trnovo.

In the last 24 hours, 29 deaths with confirmed coronavirus infection have been reported to the Institute of Public Health.

So far, 53,483 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, and a total of 2,674 people with a confirmed test for this virus have died.

So far, 38,311 people have recovered, and a total of 231,635 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized is 1,265, at the University Clinical Center 521, and in other hospitals 744. There are 104 people on ventilators (63 at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, 41 in other hospitals).

Currently, 9,298 people are under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 151,211 people.

Brčko District

Three people died in the Brčko District, and another 85 people were infected with the coronavirus.
