Rainfall expected during the day, caution advised if you are traveling

(Patria) - In western Bosnia, rain fell during the night, so roads are wet or damp, while in the rest of the country traffic is moving under good weather conditions.

Given that meteorologists have forecast precipitation in some areas of our country today, we urge drivers to drive with maximum caution, especially in rainy conditions or when traffic frequency is significantly increased. Keep a safe distance between vehicles and always use your seatbelt.

Due to construction work on noise barriers on the A-1 motorway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo north, traffic is moving in the passing lane.

Tonight from 10:00 PM until the completion of works, the Ivan tunnel on the A-1 motorway section Bradina-Tarčin will be closed to traffic.

Works are also ongoing on main roads: Semizovac-Olovo, Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), Sarajevo-Pale, Vrhpolje-Ključ and Bijeljina-Šepak (in Janja).

We remind you that on the Jablanica-Bildinje road, traffic is allowed for all vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes total weight.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles range from 10 to 30 minutes. The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.

Please note that waiting times at border crossings are subject to frequent changes. Drivers have access to video surveillance cameras on our website www.bihamk.ba.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tonnes maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 tonnes are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses may use the GP Šepak crossing. Freight vehicles can use GP Šepak from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends they may cross during the 22:00 to 06:00 period).
