Increased traffic expected on city roads during the day

(Patria) - Traffic jams are expected on city roads in the morning hours, and by the end of the day on most roads in our country. Fog is reducing visibility in places on sections passing through valleys and river flows. We draw drivers' attention to possible minor landslides of soil or rocks and ask for careful driving, adapted to road conditions.

Due to repair works on the guardrail along the Zenica-Doboj main road (on the Donja Vraca-Liješnica section), vehicles will drive at reduced speed every day (except Sunday), from 9 AM to 7 PM, with alternating traffic flow. Given that this is a busy section, longer delays can be expected.

Works are underway on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as on the main roads: Konjic– Jablanica (on the bridge near the Crnaja tunnel), Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci settlement), Semizovac-Olovo, Mostar-Čitluk (at the entrance to Čitluk), Jajce-Crna Rijeka, and Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci).

Today and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday), due to traffic light repair works in Konjic (at the intersection of M-17 and R-435), vehicles will drive at reduced speed.

We remind you that traffic for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total mass is allowed on the Jablanica-Blidinje main road.

Until 09/24, due to construction works, traffic will be suspended on the Bileća-GP Deleuša regional road from 8 AM to 3 PM. During the suspension, traffic will be rerouted to GP Klobuk (Trebinje-Nikšić).

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles do not exceed 10 to 30 minutes. Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are rerouted to Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use GP Šepak. Trucks can drive through GP Šepak from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross from 10 PM to 6 AM).
