Increased vehicle frequency expected during the day

(Patria) - On Sunday morning, traffic on the roads of Bosnia and Herzegovina is proceeding on dry asphalt without significant disruptions. Increased vehicle frequency is expected on main roads, approaches to cities, as well as at border crossings. We appeal to all drivers to drive with maximum caution and to maintain a safe distance between vehicles. Pay special attention to cyclists, motorcyclists, and electric scooter riders.

Long queues of vehicles are observed at the exits from our country at the border crossings: Izačić, Velika Kladuša, Gradina, Orašje, Bosanska Dubica, and at GP Bosanska Gradiška, traffic is heavy in both directions. At other border crossings, waiting times are currently no longer than 30 minutes.

Due to blasting operations from 8 AM to 4 PM, traffic is temporarily suspended at the entrance to Bosanska Krupa from the direction of Bihać, with 15-minute suspensions.

Renovation works are underway on the main roads: Kladanj-Vlasenica, Olovo – Semizovac, Prozor-Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, Foča-Ustikolina, Dobro Polje-Miljevina, Bijeljina-Rača.

On the main road Rogatica-Ustiprača, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.

Until the end of August, the Krstac border crossing (on the Gacko-Nikšić road) is open for passenger traffic.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing.
