During 230 inspections, 65 undeclared workers were discovered

 

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH yesterday conducted a total of 230 inspections in the Federation of BiH. Taxpayers engaged in service and production activities were covered by the inspections, the Administration announced, reports Patria.

During the inspections, inspectors of the Tax Administration of the FBiH discovered 65 undeclared workers, 21 facilities where business was conducted without the approval of the competent authority, 94 taxpayers who did not issue invoices, and 28 taxpayers who did not have a fiscal device installed. Due to the established irregularities: employment of undeclared workers, operation without the approval of competent authorities, and failure to record turnover through a fiscal device, 52 facilities were sealed and 146 misdemeanor orders were issued, with total fines amounting to BAM 328,410.00.

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH will continue to carry out activities to control the legality of taxpayers' operations and prevent the grey economy throughout 2017 and calls on taxpayers to respect the laws, so as not to expose themselves to sanctions and additional costs.
