Tjentište: Smuggled tobacco and cigarettes found in a truck

In the area of Tjentište, on the Foča – Gacko road, members of the Border Police of BiH during a check of a Mercedes truck discovered two kilograms of tobacco and 15 cartons of Drina and Marlboro cigarettes without excise stamps, reports the Patria news agency.

The vehicle was driven by a BiH citizen, S.M. (born 1950). By order of the competent prosecutor's office, a search of his house was conducted, during which an additional 88 boxes of tobacco, 100 boxes of Marlboro cigarettes without excise stamps, five hand grenades, ten detonator caps, and 481 rounds of ammunition were found. S.M. will be reported to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "illicit trade" and to the District Prosecutor's Office in Trebinje for the criminal offense of illegal production and trafficking of weapons or explosive substances, the Border Police of BiH announced.
