(Patria) - After preparatory work carried out since yesterday morning, members of the FUCZ Federal Specialized Underwater Rescue Unit and the BiH Armed Forces, with the help of heavy machinery, today pulled out the BiH AF helicopter that crashed into Jablanica Lake near Buturović Polje two days ago.
The Federal Civil Protection Administration, at the request of the BiH Ministry of Defense, engaged divers, members of the Federal Specialized Underwater Rescue Unit with the necessary specialized equipment and boats, who immediately proceeded to the helicopter crash site.
After the diving team of the Special Unit of the Federal Police Administration located the helicopter in Jablanica Lake, divers from the Federal Specialized Underwater Rescue Unit and the Mostar Intervention Rescue Service dived at the specified location yesterday to pull the helicopter towards the lake shore to facilitate its extraction from the water.
The BiH Armed Forces helicopter crashed into Jablanica Lake two days ago during preparations for a rescue exercise.
A state prosecutor also arrived at the scene and supervised the investigation.
