Razija Mujanović's Team Walks in Support of Women Suffering from Breast Cancer

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The team of Razija Mujanović, vice-president of the Independent Bloc, walked yesterday on Wilson's Promenade symbolically in support of women who have fought and are fighting breast cancer.

The legendary basketball player gathered her team as part of the large "Race for the cure" campaign, showing with her engagement that she can gather a large number of people, and thanks to registrations and sponsors, Razija Mujanović's team has collected almost 2,500 KM, which will surely help in the fight against this deadly disease.

Among others, the president of NB, Senad Šepić, and federal representative Amer Obradović are in Raza's team.

Razija Mujanović says: "I am happy that my team from the Independent Bloc supported me today to walk together in Sarajevo for all women suffering from breast cancer! I experienced it even more emotionally because I myself have overcome breast cancer and I know what a fight those women are waging! I know what a person goes through when they enter that fight. I want to be a support to everyone. Breast cancer is something that can happen to anyone, it doesn't matter if you are a teacher, a housewife, a doctor, a basketball player, or something else. Prevention is very important and I urge all women to be responsible and regularly check their health. Together we can win. Woman is a woman's friend.".

Our legendary Raza, the most successful Bosnian-Herzegovinian athlete ever, has been chosen as one of the ambassadors for this year's "Race for the cure 2020" campaign #RFTC2020.
