Body of Slovenian diver carried 14 kilometers by the Drina River

The body of Slovenian diver Andrej Beuc (34) was found in the Drina River near Kozluk, about 14 kilometers from the spot where he disappeared on Sunday after jumping from a bridge in Zvornik, Patria reports.

Beuc was a professional parachutist and an experienced diver. On Sunday, he jumped from the city bridge in Zvornik during a local event, but that jump proved fatal for him.

After jumping into the river, Beuc surfaced several times but then quickly disappeared. The search for him lasted five days. Various theories have emerged about the death of the experienced diver. However, it is more likely that Beuc injured his vertebrae during the jump, after which he could not cope with the strong river.

The family of the Slovenian diver has announced lawsuits against the organizers of the jumps in Zvornik, claiming they made a series of security omissions, Patria reports.
