Tihić worked for the good of the entire country, not just the people who elected him

On behalf of the US Embassy in BiH and personally, Chargé d'Affaires Nicholas Hill expresses deep condolences on the death of Sulejman Tihić, Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament and President of the Party of Democratic Action of BiH, reports the BiH news agency Patria.  

"I am personally deeply saddened by the news of Sulejman Tihić's death. He worked for the good of not only the people who elected him, but for the good of the entire country. I especially admired his courage to work on achieving compromise. Despite his difficult personal experience during the war, he sought ways to promote mutual understanding and tolerance in BiH. His desire to work for the general good of this country marked his entire career," said Chargé d'Affaires Hill.
