Tihić remains stable, tests at KCUS continue

The President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Sulejman Tihić is stable, and doctors at the University Clinical Center Sarajevo will continue with tests today, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP)

The Head of the Public Relations Service of KCUS, Azra Dedajić, confirmed for NAP that the medical council of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo concluded that the general condition of patient Sulejman Tihić is still stable and that planned diagnostic and therapeutic procedures will continue.

According to sources from KCUS, the biggest problem Tihić is currently facing is pulmonary embolism, and doctors are refraining from any further prognoses, Patria has learned.

- Tihić has been stabilized. He is not on a respirator, he breathes on his own, but the condition is still serious and any prognoses are ungrateful – a source from the University Clinical Center Sarajevo, where the SDA president was admitted two days ago, confirmed for NAP.

According to official information, Tihić is stable and under the supervision of a medical council. He has been battling a serious illness for years, and as doctors point out, the therapies so far have had more effect than initially expected. However, two days ago his condition worsened, so the SDA president was admitted to the clinic. As we learn, a large number of friends and public figures are interested in his condition and sending wishes for recovery, writes NAP.
