Teufik Mušić Shot Hrustanović Over 'Triglav Osiguranje'

Teufik Mušić, a former police officer and director of the company 'Neckar', shot Fejsal Hrustanović, former director of Triglav Osiguranje and now an advisor to the Management Board, today due to unsettled accounts about which Mušić had even written publicly in 2010, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

In 2010, Mušić published a series of texts and court rulings via a blog, after, as he wrote, eight years of agony, struggle, and fruitless pursuit of justice.

Namely, in 1990, Mušić and his sister founded a rent-a-car agency, but due to war activities, its operations were interrupted. In 1996, he restarted the company and insured it with BH Osiguranje, whose director at the time was Dragan Đević. In 1997, Fejsal Hrustanović took his place.

In the period from 1996 to 2002, the company 'Neckar' paid more than two million KM to the then 'BH Osiguranje' (today 'Triglav BH Osiguranje') based on mandatory and comprehensive insurance. The business developed, and the company had up to seventy vehicles. However, as early as 2001, problems arose in the relationship between Mušić and Hrustanović.

Due to the non-settlement of obligations that mostly arose from verbal agreements between the two, Hrustanović filed a lawsuit against Mušić and seized his vehicles that were under customs supervision. The nightmare was just beginning.

Mušić then wrote that for a debt of 85,314.72 KM, property worth more than three million KM was seized.

- One day, when the verdicts become final, everything will be clear, but the question is whether I will be alive then, after all the blows I have survived. Over the past more than eight years of my agony and struggle against windmills, I have done everything to resolve this agony of mine fairly and honestly - Mušić wrote at the time.
