(Patria) - Jusuf Nurkić suffered a severe leg fracture during the match between Portland and Brooklyn.
Nurkić was injured in overtime when he broke his leg upon landing. As announced by the NBA league, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian center has an open fracture of the lower leg, breaking both bones, the tibia and fibula.
Midway through the second overtime, Nurkić attempted to grab an offensive rebound but landed awkwardly, and it was immediately apparent that a horrific injury had occurred, with his leg broken.
It is clear that the season is over for Jusuf Nurkić, and how long he will be sidelined will be determined later.
