TV host Mato Đaković stopped investigation against Milorad Dodik

The conflict between Chief Prosecutor Goran Salihović and BiH Security Minister Dragan Mektić has also spilled into the public. The prosecutor is investigating the minister's alleged fake diploma, and the minister accuses the prosecutor of meddling. Žurnal learns the background of this conflict and publishes parts of the transcripts of phone conversations between Mato Đaković and Milorad Dodik.

"Listen, boss, I was with the chief today. We finished regarding Bobar Banka. You certainly won't be there. It will also be okay in Pavlović. I was promised that they will close the investigation in the gold case too. When we meet, I will tell you the rest. I can't do it over the phone," journalist Mato Đaković told his godfather Milorad Dodik in May this year, writes Žurnal, reports Patria.

Dodik was happy. Đaković promised him a meeting soon and added: "I'll fuck the mother of that Mektić (Dragan Mektić, Security Minister) and Stanić (Perica Stanić, Director of SIPA). Even more serious players have lost to me."

A few days later, the BiH Prosecutor's Office concluded the checks/investigation in the "gold" case, which was formed after the former BiH Ambassador to Moscow stated that Milorad Dodik, in his presence, received a kilogram of gold from Russian businessman Oleg Burlakov.

The second case, which Mato Đaković mentioned after talking to Dodik, was "Bobar Banka". The investigation in this case is ongoing, and as Žurnal learns, among the 14 accused whose names will be on the indictment – Milorad Dodik is not among them.

The third case, Pavlović banka, is still in the investigation phase, and the suspect Milorad Dodik has not yet been questioned. Mato Đaković, after talking to Dodik about these cases, got a job at Radio-Television of Republika Srpska. On the other hand, the BiH Prosecutor's Office has formed a case against Security Minister Dragan Mektić. This was based on a report by Dževad Galijašević.

"After Minister Mektić had an unpleasant conversation with Chief State Prosecutor Goran Salihović regarding the investigation against him, Hasan Pleh, head of the Chief State Prosecutor's cabinet, informed Mektić from China that he would cancel the investigation against him," one of the actors in the entire affair told Žurnal.

All of the above happened during May and June. Milorad Dodik, who was under special investigative measures during that period (wiretapped in accordance with valid court and prosecutor's orders), changed his phone number after a series of conversations with Mato Đaković.

"Special investigative measures against Milorad Dodik have thus failed," said another Žurnal source directly involved in the investigation.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) has compiled appropriate official notes on all of this, and together with the transcripts of the conversations between Mato Đaković and Milorad Dodik, forwarded them to the BiH Court and the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

"After this, Chief State Prosecutor Goran Salihović literally went mad. In the presence of several people, he said that he would arrest Dragan Mektić, SIPA Director Perica Stanić, and BiH Court President Meddžida Kreso, and that he would look for evidence of their guilt later," a third source from police institutions told Žurnal.
