Captain of the national basketball team and Brooklyn Nets player Mirza Teletović has left the hospital in Los Angeles and returned to New York, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
He posted a photo from the airport on his Facebook profile with a message.
- Last night's flight was good, it's nice to be home with my children.
After falling ill during a game against the Clippers, he was admitted to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism. Unfortunately, he will be off the court for about six months.
He will continue further treatment in New York.
