Teletović receives "Avazov zmaj" for sports personality of 2013

The winner of the award "Avazov zmaj" for sports personality of 2013 is Mirza Teletović, a basketball representative of BiH and member of the NBA team Brooklyn Nets, Patria reports.

Teletović was on the list ahead of Edin Džeko, and said that he is glad that his work and effort are appreciated. He also wished much luck to the Bosnian football Dragons at the World Cup in Brazil, where our first match against Argentina awaits us on Sunday.

Teletović had 104 points, while Džeko had 87. Members of the judging panel, composed of 30 renowned names in Bosnian sports, had a difficult task of choosing one athlete from ten candidates.

The award ceremony was attended by numerous public and sports figures from BiH.
