Teletović congratulates cadets: We are not worried about successors

The cadet basketball team of BiH achieved a historic success yesterday and qualified for the quarterfinals of the European Championship held in Latvia by defeating Lithuania. The captain of the BiH basketball team, Mirza Teletović, also congratulated the future seniors, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

- Little guys, big hearts... We are not worried about successors. Congratulations to our cadets on qualifying among the top eight in Europe. God willing, next year we will follow in your footsteps – Teletović wrote on Facebook.

The team led by coach Emir Halimić defeated Lithuania with a score of 89:80, and our most effective player was Džanan Musa with 37 points. We remind you that the senior national team is also playing a return match with Iceland in Reykjavik today, and Teletović stayed in BiH due to private obligations. In any case, this match is not of great result significance, given that we qualified for Eurobasket 2015 with a victory over Great Britain on Sunday.
