In today's phone call with member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić proposed that his announced official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina be postponed until autumn this year, due to the decisions made today to dissolve the Parliament and call early elections in the Republic of Serbia for April 24, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
The interlocutors agreed that postponing the visit, due to the new circumstances within the Republic of Serbia, is justified.
Serbian President Nikolić confirmed his participation in the Brdo-Brijuni Process summit, which will be held on May 28 and 29, 2016, in Sarajevo.
Izetbegović and Nikolić also discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and exchanged views on current challenges facing the region, with a special emphasis on the refugee crisis.
President Nikolić wished the member of the BiH Presidency Izetbegović much success in his upcoming presidency of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
