Only after resolving disputed issues and confirming answers will the translation of the EC Questionnaire proceed

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina at its session today considered and took note of the Information from the Directorate for European Integration on the preparation of answers to the questions from the European Commission Questionnaire.

The Information states that during August, 34 working group meetings were held. At the same time, the technical finalization of the answers to the questions from the Questionnaire is being carried out, which should be completed by September 1, 2017.

- In the work of the working groups and the process of technical finalization, certain difficulties were observed, particularly in ensuring a quorum. Also, a problem is the failure to adhere to agreed deadlines for certain activities, the failure to submit requested information, data and regulations, or consolidated acts - said the Council of Ministers.

Upon completion of the technical finalization of the answers from the Questionnaire, the chairs of the working groups, with the consent of both deputies, will submit the answers to the Commission for European Integration, which will forward them to the coordinators of the European integration process in Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation in accordance with internal procedures.

- Disputed issues that arise during the technical finalization will be submitted by the chair of the working group, with the consent of both deputies, to the Commission for European Integration and possibly other bodies of the coordination system, with a request for harmonization.

After harmonizing the disputed issues and confirming the answers, the translation of the EC Questionnaire will proceed - the Information states.
