Tanović: UKCS Board Chairman Jasmin Kapetanović ordered me to sign retirement decisions

Former director of surgical disciplines at UKCS Haris Tanović, who went into early retirement, replaced Rusmir Mesihović after his resignation from the position of UKCS director on December 7, 2015, and held the position until Enra Suljić was appointed acting director on December 9. Within 24 hours, he signed more than ten retirement decisions for his colleagues, reports the Patria news agency.

Prof. Dr. Tanović told Patria that he had to do this because he received a written order from the acting UKCS Board, headed by Jasmin Kapetanović.

- It is true that I signed about ten retirement decisions for my colleagues. I received a written order with the names and surnames of the people and the numbers of their decisions. I had to do this within 24 hours, under threat of criminal liability, and they listed the articles of the law under which I must carry out the order. I did it, but on the order of the Board - Tanović emphasized.

When asked by a Patria journalist what could be the reason for such pressure, Tanović said:

- I did it, but others could have done it too. However, I received the order signed by Kapetanović. I think everyone understands why it was done, because they obviously wanted me to do it, not one of my successors - Tanović said, adding that he was a front man.

- I would do everything prescribed by law, but you know, if you don't have to, it's not really nice to leave someone without a livelihood, but I was a front man - Tanović added.

Incidentally, the decisions were signed for Dr. Zuhdija Godinjak, Emir Solaković...

We recall, Kapetanović was appointed head of the temporary UKCS Board by a decision of the FBiH Government on November 12, 2015, and he and his wife Elvedina are close to the elected director Sebija Izetbegović. The Kapetanovićs are also owners of the Dina pharmacies.
