Heatwaves continue in the coming days: Temperatures up to 36 degrees, freshness only in mid-June

(Patria) – The first days of June in Bosnia and Herzegovina have brought above-average air temperatures, and according to meteorologists' forecasts, sunny and stable weather will continue throughout the weekend, but also at the beginning of next week.

The highest daily temperatures will range between 29°C and 34°C, while in Herzegovina and the north of the country they will reach up to 36°C. Nights will be warm, with minimum temperatures from 14°C to 20°C in Bosnia and up to 22°C in Herzegovina.

According to prognostic models, the first signs of freshness and change in weather conditions are expected around June 14, when unstable weather with rain and showers is forecast.

From mid-month, morning temperatures in Bosnia will range between 13°C and 18°C, and in Herzegovina up to 20°C. The highest daily temperatures will drop to values between 22°C and 27°C in Bosnia and up to 30°C in Herzegovina.

Citizens are advised to be cautious when staying outdoors during the warmest part of the day, to stay hydrated and protect themselves from the sun.
