Tadić meets with SIRACUS representative Tobias Freeman

Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gordana Tadić, together with officials of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, Deputy Ozrenka Nešković and Deputy Head of the Special Department for War Crimes Izet Odobašić, met with Tobias Freeman from the Siracusa International Institute.

The meeting discussed the activities that this international institute, which is actively engaged in criminal law and human rights protection, undertakes in the segment of combating illicit trade.

The aforementioned institute is implementing a project related to the fight against illicit trade and smuggling in the region of Southeast Europe, and they wished to establish contact with the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, as an institution that, within the scope of criminal offenses under its jurisdiction, also prosecutes perpetrators of criminal offenses related to illicit trade, as well as human and goods smuggling.

Representatives of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH informed Freeman about the previous work and activities of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and the meeting discussed possible cooperation in activities and projects implemented by the international Siracusa International Institute.
